Log rotation

• File: /etc/logrotate.d/apache
• Controls the apache log roatation.
• Reflect change of log files:

  /var/log/httpd/error.log {
  }
  
  /var/log/httpd/xfer.log {
      postrotate
          killall -USR1 httpd
      endscript
  }
  

• Meaning:
  • First rotate /var/log/httpd/error.log
  • Then rotate /var/log/httpd/xfer.log
  • After rotating xfer.log, send signal USR1 to httpd.
