Configuring the service

• As a webadmin, not as root!
• Directory: /etc/httpd/conf
  • Directory and contents are group-writable by wwwadmin
  • httpd.conf: Configuration file
  • srm.conf: Obsolete
  • access.conf: Obsolete
  • mime.types: Identifies MIME type by filename
• Directory: /etc/logrotate.d
  • apache: Controls the rotation of the log files.
  • File is writable by members of group wwwadmin.
